• When will the BMW BERLIN MARATHON 2024 take place?

  

      The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2024 will take place on September 29th, 2024 for runners, handbike and wheelchair competitors.

  
  
• How do I register for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2024?

  As for all events of the Abbott World Marathon Majors Series (AbbottWMM), the allocation of the race entries will be conducted by lottery. Registration for the lottery was possible from 28.09. to 16.11.2023. Registration is no longer possible. You can find further ways to get a race entry at:

Race Material

• Where do I pick up my race material?

  You can get your race kit at the MARATHON EXPO.

  The opening hours are:
  Thursday, September 26, 2024: 3 pm – 8 pm,
  Friday, September 27, 2024: 11 am – 8 pm,
  Saturday, September 28, 2024: 9 am – 7 pm

• Can someone else pick up my race material?

  No! The pick up of the race material by another person is not possible, not even with a power of attorney! It is also not possible to send you the material.
  In the process of the race material pick up we also put on your athletes wristband, which is, together with your bib number, required to be allowed to enter the Start/Finish area. This will ensure that only registered participants take part in the BMW BERLIN MARATHON 2024.

  Please remove your athletes wristband after you have left the finish area on race day.

  
  
• How do I recieve my pre-booked additional services?

  You can pick up all pre-booked items from the event collection together with your race material at the MARATHON EXPO 2024. The additional services you have booked will be displayed on a tear-off on your race number.

   

  
  

Lottery

• Do all registrants receive an e-mail?

  Whether loser or winner, everyone will receive an e-mail with the result. Please note that this process can take the whole day. To be on the safe side, we recommend that you also check your spam folder. 

  
  
• When will the participation fee be charged?

  From December 6, the charge will be made by our service provider Adyen N.V.. The process can take up to a week, depending on the bank. If the amount has not been debited after this time, check your user account, where you have the option of entering a different payment method and the payment process will be retried. Your race entry will not be affected.

  
  
• How do I change my payment details?

  A change is not possible at this time. But if you are drawn and we cannot charge your payment method, a payment request will appear in your user account. There you can choose a new payment method. Your race entry will not be affected.

  
  
• Can I correct my personal information after my registration?

  Numerical errors and spelling mistakes can only be corrected by us. Please contact us via our contact form and we will work on it diligently. Please note: A complete change of name (participant exchange) is not possible! 

  Your address has changed? You can edit this yourself in your user account under "My account".

  
  
• Can I change my order?

  From the adidas event shirt to the medal engraving, you can order (almost) all extras and services via your user account under "My registrations > 2024 > BMW BERLIN-MARATHON > Products".

  This does not include insurance and clothing drop off, which can only be booked directly when registering. 

  To change sizes or cancel products, use the contact form.

  Please note that the participation fee will not be refunded.

  
  
• What happens to my participation if a team member is unable to run?

  After the draw, the race entries will be treated independently. This means that your registration remains valid even if your team member is unable to take part. 

  
  
• Can I adjust my best/expected finish time?

  You can adjust your best time in your user account under "My registrations" up to and including 23.09.2024.

  
  
• Can I change or add the poncho and clothing drop off?

  This selection can no longer be changed once registration has been completed. A additional booking is not possible.
