Only 1,000 race numbers still available for runners for the 32nd real,- BERLIN MARATHON 2005

The number of race numbers available for the 32nd real,- BERLIN-MARATHON on September 24-25, 2005 is getting smaller and smaller. Just about three months before the event, only 1,000 runners can still register before the 40,000 limit in participation is reached.

"We are delighted that the real,- BERLIN-MARATHON is demonstrating even greater popularity this year and that for many runners it is their athletic highlight of the year,” says race director Mark Milde.

Take advantage of online registration

According to previous experiences, the real,- BERLIN-MARATHON will undoubtedly be filled for runners within a few weeks of this announcement. Whoever would still like to run on September 25 should hurry—and use the online registration if possible. The online registration will be closed immediately after the limit has been reached.

The real,- BERLIN-MARATHON, for the first time with 40,000 participants, is one of the largest and most important marathon races in the world. But it is not only the great number of participants from around the world (last year from 91 countries) that makes it remarkable. With five world records so far, Berlin continues to make sporting headlines around the world.

Still sufficient capacities for inline skaters

For the separate inline skating marathon race on Saturday, September 24, race numbers are still available before the limit of 10,000 is reached.
