Only 1,500 race numbers left for runners for the real,- BERLIN-MARATHON

Space is getting limited for the 31st real,- BERLIN- MARATHON on September

25-26, 2004. About 3 months before the event, only 1,500 more runners will be

able to register before the 35,000 limit is reached.

"We are pleased that after the anniversary year that the real,-

BERLIN-MARATHON is still so popular and is an athletic highlight of the year

for many runners", said Race Director Mark Milde.

After last years experieces, this means that within a few weeks the the

real,- BERLIN-MARATHON will be booked to capacity for the runners. Whoever

still wants to participate on September 26, should hurry - and best use the

online registration. When the limit is reached, the online registration will be

closed immediately.

The real,- BERLIN-MARATHON, wiht 35,000 participants, belongs to the group

of the largest and most important marathon races in the world. But it is not

only the widespread partipation from people from around the world (99 countries

were represented last year), it is also impressive with its 4 world records in

the past few years, making the headlines around the world with spectacular news

from Berlin.

The separate marathon for the inline skaters on Saturday, September 25,

there is still space before the limit of 10,000 is reached.
